I am a Systems Security Engineer assigned to the National Insitute for Neurological Disorders and Stroke at NIH as a member of the Information Resources Management Branch. I administer their portfolio of security monitoring tools which include, Splunk, Cylance, Varonis, and Netsparker that are deployed on all servers and workstations. As such I ensure that all are ruinning properly and triage an reported critical events that may arise.
Outside of my work, I build websites for small businesses with the WordPress platform and its plugins, HTML, CSS, and Dreamweaver.

- Built, maintain, and operate Splunk instance to collect and analyze system events logs from endpoints (e.g. servers) for compliance with NIST 800-53 standard.
- Maintain and operate Varonis, a Data Loss Prevention tool, to detect and classify sensitive data from Windows Servers and SharePoint sites
- Run Netsparker Standard and Enterprise software edition scans to prepare and review application vulnerability reports for NINDS applications. Report vulnerabilities identified to developer teams via ServiceNow security tasks.
